University of Port Harcourt Mechanical Engineering Department Excursion Trip

The department of Mechanical Engineering embarked on an excursion trip on the 29th of June 2018 to help them see first hand industrial use of the latest engineering tools available in the industry.

The department visited an engineering servicing company 'Turrent Engineering Services' Port Harcourt.

The  Department of mechanical engineering of the University of Port Harcourt was host to David Wilson whois from Purdue University, Indiana USA and under the Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship.

David Wilson who studied agricultural engineering was received by the Head of the department of Mechanical & Mechatronics engineering at the mechatronics hall in abuja campus where he gave a talk on the role of agriculture in technology in creating employment and as source of food.
